  • Day 01:Kathmandu airport to Hotel

    From Tribhuban International Airport you will be transferred to your hotel room. In the afternoon we will invite you to our office for briefing about the each day program. Today you will receive your Sagarmatha National Park Permits and TIMS.

  • Day 02:Kathmandu valley sightseeing

    After having breakfast you will do some sightseeing which includes Pashupatinath Swoyambhunath and Boudhanath.

  • Day 03:Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding

    Route: Lukla – Chheplung (2660 m) – Ghat (2592 m) – Phakding (2610 m)

    Accomodation Type: Hotel / Lodge

    Duration: 30 minutes flight & trek 3 hrs

    Elevation Gain: 1210 m

     

     

    Early morning we take flight to Lukla which is gateway to Mt. Everest. 30 minutes long flight will be the thrilling and adventurous experience to start your trek to EBC. After reaching Lukla you will be introduced with porters and will head to Phakding via Chaurikharka and Chheplung.

  • Day 04:Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3435m)

    Route: Phakding – Monjo(2835m) – Larja Dobhan (2830 m) – Namche Bazar

    Accomodation Type: Hotel / Lodge

    Duration: 6 hrs

    Elevation Gain: 830 m

     

    After having your breakfast at Phakding you will start your hike. On your way to Namche you will cross suspension bridges and hike up observing the beautiful view. Monjo is an entrance gate to Sagarmatha National Park where your permits will be checked. Monjo is a sherpa village which offers you a beautiful landscape view.

    The walk for this day concludes reaching Namche Bazaar.  Namche Bazar, one of the beautiful villages in the Khumbu region offers you the attractive Mountain View.

     

  • Day 05:Today you will acclimatize at Namche Bazaar.

    The must needed acclimatization day in Namche even if you feel healthy and fit. You can hike up to Everest view point or simply have a complete rest day at your lodge. Magnificent panoramic view of Mountains like Amadablam, Thamserku, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and others can be seen from Everest view point.

     

  • Day 06:Trek from Namche to Phortse (3680m)

    Route: Namche (3440 m) – Kyangjuma (3550 m) – Phortse

    Accomodation Type:  Teahouse

    Duration: 5-6 hrs

    Elevation gain: 240 m

     

    You will start trek after having breakfast. Walking through the dense rhododendron forest you will be both descending and ascending on your way to Phortse. First part of the trail slightly goes uphill to Namche Bazaar and turn to Phortse Thanga via Khumjung, Dudhkoshi Valley.

    The trail follows beneath the splendid Mt. Everest, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse and many others. The destination for today ends reaching Phortse.

     

  • Day 07:Trek from Phortse Thangna to Machermo (4470m)

    Route: Phortse Thanga – Dhole (4110 m) – Lhabarma (4330 m) – Luza (4360 m) – Machherma (4470 m)

    Accomodation Type:  Teahouse

    Duration: 6-7 hrs

    Elevation gain: 790 m

     

    The trek travels through a forest and gives a breathtaking view of Cho Oyu (8201m), Kantega (6783m) and Thamserku (6623m) snow-capped peak in the Khumbu Himalaya.

  • Day 08:Trek to Gokyo Lake via Ngozumpa glacier.

    Route: Machherma – Phangga (4480 m) – Gokyo (4790 m)

    Accomodation Type:  Teahouse

    Duration: 5-6 hrs

    Elevation gain: 320 m

     

    The trail ascends a crest which offers a stunning view of the Kangtega valley and Cho-Oyu(8201m).  The Gokyo region offers amazing views of the mountains. Gokyo RI (95350m), a small peak above the lake, is another two-hour hike away. It offers a breathtaking view of Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cholatse.

  • Day 09:Explore the Gokyo Lake.

    You can hike up Gokyo Peak, which has early morning starts. The spectacular view of Cho You, Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu can be viewed from the top. You can enjoy magnificent scene of  Gokyo Lake while you descend.

  • Day 10:Trek from Gokyo to Dzongla (5330m).

    Route: Gokyo – Dragnag (4700 m) –  Cho La Pass (5368 m) – Dzonglha (4830 m)

    Accomodation Type:  Teahouse

    Duration: 5-6 hrs

    Elevation gain: 578 m

     

    The trail  ascends to Cho La Pass at (5414m) and then descend to reach Dzongla village. The hardest day of the walk may be today.

     

  • Day 11:Trek from Dzongla to Lobuche (4910m).

    Route: Dzonglha (4830 m) – Lobuche (4910 m)

    Accomodation Type:  Teahouse

    Duration: 5-6 hrs

     

    The distance between Dzongla and Lobuche is shorter and the trail is easier, allowing you to enjoy the journey. Magnificent views of Ama Dablam, the Nuptse-Lhotse, Everest, Pumori, Lobuche peak, etc. can be seen. A remarkable view is the sunset over Nuptse from Lobuche.

     

  • Day 12:Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5180m).

    Route: Lobuche – Pyramid (4970 m) – Lobuche pass (5110 m) – Gorak Shep (5140 m)

    Accomodation Type:  Teahouse

    Duration: 6-7 hrs

    Elevation gain: 230 m

     

    After crossing the final steep ridge and enjoying the frozen glacial lake and icebergs below the Khumbu glacier, we arrive at Gorakshep. Gorakshep is situated below Mt. Pumori and Kala Patthar. Amazing views of Pumori (7167m), Lingtren (6713m), Khumbutse (6639m), Nuptse (7879m), Lobuche east (6090m), as well as the Khumbu glacier and icefall, can be seen along the route.

     

  • Day 13:Trek from Gorakshep to Pheriche (4240m)

    Route: Gorak Shep – Kala Patthar (5550 m) – Gorakh Shep – Lobuche (4910 m) – Thokla (4620 m) – Pheriche (4240 m)

    Accomodation Type: Hotel / Lodge

    Duration: 6-7 hrs

     

    Reaching the Everest base camp is not the end of the trek. In the early morning you will hike up to Kala Patthar, the highest point of the trek to see the beautiful sunrise view. You will be amazed seeing the rays of sun touching the mountains of himalayas. The best panoramic view of the himalayas is observed from this view point. After filling your eyes, mind and heart with the splendid scenic view of himalaya you will descend back to Gorakh shep for your breakfast.

    The most notable ascent for the day is Pheriche Pass. Great views of rivers and Mountains can be seen on your way to Pheriche.

  • Day 14:Trek from Pheriche to Tengboche (3890m)

    Route: Pheriche – Pangboche (3930 m) – Deboche (3820 m) – Tengboche (3860 m)

    Accomodation Type: Hotel / Lodge

    Duration: 3-4 hrs

     

    The route to Tengboche is  easy with beautiful views on its way.Tengboche can be less called Village as it is surrounded by the guest houses. Tengboche Monastery is one of the largest monasteries in Khumbu region and is a very important sacred place. Evening rituals are performed by the Monks in Tengboche Monastery. Everyone can take part in the prayer however you are not allowed to take photos and videos.

  • Day 15:Trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3535m)

    Route: Tengboche – Phungi Thanga (3250 m) – Kyangjuma (3550 m) – Namche Bazar (3440 m)

    Accomodation Type: Hotel / Lodge

    Duration: 3-4 hrs

     

    You can enjoy beautiful sunrise view from tengboche along with having your breakfast at side. After having breakfast and packing our bags we will descend down to Namche Bazar. Namche Bazar is one of the beautiful village in Khumbu region.

  • Day 16:Trek from Namche to Lukla (2850m)

    Route: Namche Bazar – Larja Dobhan (2830 m) – Monjo (2835 m) – Phakding (2610 m) – Chhuthawa (2591 m) – Ghat (2592 m) – Chheplung (2660 m) – Lukla ( 2840 m)

    Accomodation Type: Hotel / Lodge

    Duration: 6-7 hrs

     

    This day might be a little long so it’s better to start your trek a little early. Walking down to Lukla you will remember your first day of the trek and find how much you have accomplished. Not only reached the base of the world’s highest mountain but also you returned safely. Though you will be walking the same path but you find the difference the way you feel. You will start memorising the whole trek on your way back as today it is the last walk of the trek. As to cherish your success you can sing, dance and have fun time with the guides and porters at Lukla in the evening.

  • Day 17:Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

    Finally, the last day of the trek, your final breakfast of the trek at Khumbu region. Catching the early flight you will return to Kathmandu, capital city of Nepal. During your flight now you will be able to recognise the peaks of the Himalayas. Upon your arrival at Kathmandu our guides will transfer you to a hotel from the domestic airport.

     

  • Day 18:Departure for your onward flight.
