Trip Introduction

Lying in the northern part of Kathmandu and in the lap of overwhelming Langtang valley region is the Yala Peak. Yala Peak Climbing is considered to be one the easy peak climbing destinations of Nepal, with height 5732m. Enriched with the unique culture of Tamang communities, ethnic settlements, creative stone carved houses, artistic wooden porches, and surrounded by seventy glacier lakes, Langtang region has an uncommon identity of its own.

 

This trek is one of the best and uncompromised climbing experiences for those trekkers who cannot afford ample amount of time. However, trekkers are required to be physically fit. In the journey towards Yala peak, trekkers will be able to view stunning view of mountains namely, Lantang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m) and impressive Shishapangma (8027m) on the Tibetan side. Moving towards the destination trekkers will finally reach to the base camp of Yala Peak, Kyangjin Gompa (3749 m). Trekkers will now be able to make their summit bid from the high camp, which is situated at 4800 meters. From here the actual Yala peak climbing starts.

 

Peak climbing experience is a novel experience one would not like to miss in their lifetime. Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters).

Day 02: Full day Kathmandu valley sightseeing.(Option)

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi (1466m).

Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2380m). – 4/5 hours.

Day 05: Trek to Langtang village (3,430m): 5/6 hours.

Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m): 3-4 hours.

Day 07: Kyanjing Explore day.

Day 08: Trek to Yala peak Base camp (4400m) 5-6 hours.

Day 09: Summit Yala Peak (5732 meters) and back to Kyangjin Gompa.

Day 10: Trek back to Lama Hotel. 5-6 hours.

Day 11: Trek to Thulo Syabru: 5-6 hours.

Day 12: Trek to Dhunche 2020m 4/5 hours.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu. Day 14: Leisure day in Kathmandu.

Day 15: Final Departure.
