Island Peak Climbing

Trip Introduction

Island Peak Climbing has emerged as a popular peak climbing expedition in the past few years, due to the exceptional beauty and the perfect mountain vista offered by this experience.  The amazing Himalayan journey is designed specifically for the energetic and the physically fit trekkers, with little or no experience of previous mountain climbing.

Island Peak (6189m) is one of the major climbing peaks in Everest, which consist of a highly glaciated West Face rising up from the Lhotse Glacier. The Island Peak Climbing is less technical than the other peaks and is hence not difficult for the physically fit beginner wishing to explore peak climbing for the first time.

Apart from the incredible experience of climbing a peak, the Island Peak climbing is also a wonderful opportunity to explore the mystique surrounding the Everest region of Nepal. The trail takes us to the heartland of the Khumbu region, where you can explore the Sherpa Culture, visit the Everest Base Camp (5357m) and scale the Kalapathar Peak for close up views of the mighty peaks like the Nuptse, Lhotse, Everest, Ama Dablam, Cho Oyu etc.

Come explore exquisite mountain scenery, the wilderness of flora and fauna, the rugged paths of Everest region, the chance to scale a peak, and the opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life with Bomjan Treks and Expedition and maximize your chances of success.
