Trip Introduction

Reaching to the height of 8163m, the expedition to the 8th highest mountain in the world provides the climbers with one of the best views of the glaciers and mountain ranges in the world. This journey to the mid-west Nepal is located in one of the uncharted territories. From the summit of this spectacular mountain peak the view of the majestic mountains including Annapurna range and the beautiful Dhaulaigir.

 

The expected duration of the entire journey is around 55 days including around a month of climb from the Manaslu Base Camp (4750m) to the Manaslu summit and back. The journey starts from the drive from Kathmandu to Arughat from where the climbers start their trek to the Manaslu Base Camp. They pass through exquisite places like Macha Khola (930m) and Lho (3180m). Throughout the journey, the adventurers can gaze their eyes upon one of the most beautiful works of art that nature has to offer. The scenic route of the Himalayas, the lushness of the grassland, the alpine forests, traditional Nepali Villages, you name it, this journey has it all.

 

However, as beautiful and grand this journey be, it definitely is not for faint of hearts. Considered as one of the most different expeditions in the country, the trail goes roughly as we proceed further. The climb to the top requires top notch physical condition and immense stamina. Similarly, previous experience in the mountaineering department is a must and beginners are not advised to take on this arduous journey. Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu Airport and Hotel transfer

Day 02:Preparation, Briefings, Last minute shopping and formalities

Day 03:Drive 6hrs from Kathmandu to Arughat(950m); camping

Day 04:Trek 5hrs from Arughat to Khanchok(950m); camping

Day 05:Trek 5hrs from Khanchok to Sotikhola (1165m); camping

Day 06:Trek 5hrs from Sotikhola to Machhakhola(1330m); camping

Day 07:Trek 6hrs from Machhakhola to Jagat(1350m); camping

Day 08:Trek 5hrs from Jagat to Ngyak(2300m); camping

Day 09:Trek 6hrs from Ngyak to Namrung(2550m)

Day 10:Trek 5hrs from Namrung to Syalla village (3150m

Day 11:Trek 7hrs from Syalla Village to Sama Gaun(3780m)

Day 12:Rest and acclimatization day at Sama Village

Day 13:Trek 6hrs from Sama Village to Manaslu Base Camp (4700m)

Day 14-42:Climbing period; summit Manaslu (8163m)

Day 43:Preparation to return to Kathmandu; Clean Base Camp

Day 44:Trek 5hrs from Base Camp to Sama village(3780m)

Day 45:Trek 5hrs from Sama village to Namrung(2550m)

Day 46:Trek 4hrs from Namrung to Philim village (2300m)

Day 47:Trek 6hrs from Philim Village to Machakhola(1330m),

Day 48:Trek 5hrsfrom Machakhola, to Soti Khola (1165m)

Day 49:Trek 4hrs from Soti, Khola to Arughat(950m)

Day 50:Drive 7hrs from Arughat to Kathmandu by tourist mini bus; hotel accommodation

Day 51:Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley (Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath); leisure and shopping. Farewell and celebration dinner in the evening.

Day 52:Transfer to the airport for final departure or alternatively join other activities
