Langtang Lirung Expedition

Trip Introduction

Langtang Lirung Expedition is the most astounding pinnacle of the Langtang Himal, which is a subrange of the Nepalese Himalayas, southwest of the Eight-thousander Shisha Pangma.

Langtang Lirung pinnacle was surveyed by H. W. Tilman and P. Lloyd in 1949. Endeavors were made to climb the pinnacle by means of the East Ridge in the 1960s, however none drew near to the summit.

In 1978, Seishi Wada and Pemba Tsering, from a Japanese-Sherpa endeavor, prevailing with regards to achieving the summit, through a similar East Ridge course. They made four camps.

As per the Himalayan Index, there have been 14 risings of Langtang Lirung for the most part by the Southeast or Southwest Ridge courses; and 13 unsuccessful endeavors on the pinnacle. Mt. Langtang Lirung Expedition the best time is September October and April May.
